A Note About Subject Matter & Compatibility:

While I focus on particular genres of nonfiction, it shouldn’t be assumed that every book in my portfolio is entirely representative of my views, beliefs, or goals. I value diversity of opinion and conversations that ask sometimes difficult questions.

That said, there may be occasions when I decline to work with authors of  books that are in direct conflict with my own belief and values systems. This is most likely to occur when there are disagreements about politics or other special interest advocacy involving eco- and socially conscious subjects.

The Emotional Intelligence Handbook

“The experience was nothing short of amazing. Melanie was knowledgeable, creative, and always available to answer my questions. Her ability to ask the right questions and uncover gaps in my writing was invaluable. My favorite result was seeing how her insights and coaching opened up new ideas and improved the depth and clarity of my book."

"My book is not only a reflection of my journey but also a key part of my business and legacy. Melanie’s guidance ensured that my work will resonate deeply with my audience, making a lasting impact.”

Michael Warner, Ed.D

As this was my first endeavor into book writing, I was unfamiliar with the process. Melanie walked me through the process every step of the way, providing constant feedback and guidance on next steps. […] During each step she discussed all options and the “why” for each decision. I truly learned a great deal from this process with Melanie and could not be happier with the final products.

Heather Hausenblas, PhD

I highly recommend Melanie. She was professional, fast, and very helpful. I will definitely use her services again.
